JOBLESSCATED!

Jobless claims numbers came out to-day with a slight improvement…..but the fundamental problem of our unemployment may be that we have a huge class of people who are highly educated but jobless, because they do not possess the skills the world needs to-day: the JOBLESSCATED. A degree in liberal arts is not terribly helpful these days when there is a shortgage of employees to fill jobs requiring math and science skills. We need to seriously re-evaluate our education system: people entering college to-day need to understand where the jobs really are….and if they want high paying jobs, they should choose their education accordingly. I see this in real estate all the time: there is a shortage of people strongly skilled to do the kind of work that is readily available…..and this results in those who do have the correct education, skills and ability to earn very large incomes: is this the simplest explanation for the 1%?
