Super-broker and semi-un-touchable Empress of Manhattan real estate Dolly Lenz has left Douglas Elliman after a 13 year reign.  Rumor has it she will be following the footsteps of brokers such as Michael Shvo, Shaun Osher and Wendy Maitland to start her own brokerage firm. The departure does not come as much of a shock to the industry: the rumor mill has been whispering of Dolly’s departure for some time. Dolly, who has been selling real estate for 25 years, was consistently the number one producing broker at Douglas Elliman with over $ 175 million in active listings, although in recent years brokers such as Michael Shvo and Raphael DeNiro had eroded her dominance.
