Dolly Lenz has been de-throned: A big CONGRATULATIONS to Melanie Lazenby, who was announced as the NUMBER ONE broker at Douglas Elliman’s real estate awards event last night (The Ellie’s) at CIPRIANI by Howard Lorber.  Breathtakingly beautiful Melanie sold the most expensive condominium in 2013 at 18 Gramercy Park ($42million) and the entire building that now houses the ‘inevitable’ next First Lady HIllary Clinton’s daughter, Chelsea Clinton. The top group was the Eklund-Gomes Team, led by John Gomes and Fredrik Eklund, best known for his starring role in Bravo’s ‘reality’ TV show “Million Dollar Listing New York”.

Congratulations to all the Douglas Elliman producers, especially those brand new brokers who have entered a very tough business and succeeded against all odds.
