WHAT HAPPENS IN THE ELEVATOR DOESN’T STAY IN THE ELEVATOR!

The recently released TMZ video clip of a heated Jerry-Springer-style altercation in the elevator of the Standard Hotel between Solange Knowles (sister of Beyonce) and Jay-Z highlight an element to daily New York life that many forget……we are being watched, especially in elevators.

In my building every moment of every day and night is not only being watched, but recorded as well. This has become a critical component to high security. And it is effective. It is easy for our building to determine who was the last person to access the gym…. who entered which apartment at what time. Of course, incidents like the ‘JAY-LANGE’ fight are recorded too and they can come back and haunt you later, especially when parasitical sites like TMZ exist, many of them willing to pay big bucks to those who control the tapes….

Anna Wintour’s immaculate bob must be spinning: first KAN-
KAR on the front cover, and now the Met Ball after-party tainted by this very un-Vogue-like behavior.

So remember: what happens in the elevator does not stay in the elevator…..or the hallways….or the lobby……or the front of your building. We are being watched and recorded. Of course if you are behaving well, you have nothing to fear…..
