As a follow up to last night’s BLURB, take note of another mega-priced listing: the presidential penthouse of the Trump Soho New York just hit the market for a whopping $50 million.

The 10,000-square-foot (Maybe $ 5,000/sf is cheap compared to its competition?), customizable spot that’s being listed by incomparable broker Dolly Lenz sits on the building’s top two floors featuring floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views, 20-foot-high vaulted ceilings and a 462sf terrace. How does this compare to the recently announced penthouses of The Puck Building, the $50 million penthouse at One Madison Park or the $55 million penthouse of Walker Tower listed yesterday too?

The highest price paid for a penthouse Downtown (adjusted for inflation) was the penthouse at 200 Eleventh Avenue five years ago ($ 32 million for 7,000sf raw), more recently the $ 42 million penthouse at 18 Gramercy Park ($6,666/sf), the $ 31,5 million Superior Ink penthouse and the recently signed penthouse at 56 Leonard Street.
