Mega-architect Norman Foster and developer Scott Resnick’s new building at the corner of Eleventh Avenue and 21st Street in West Chelsea has come to market, now known as 551 West 21st Street. The 250ft tower across from Chelsea Piers and the Hudson River Park with its gracious entry drive-in courtyard (think Riverhouse) is nestled between West Side pioneers 100 Eleventh Avenue by Jean Nouvel and Selldorf’s 200 Eleventh Avenue. Prices will range from $5.75 million to $17.5 million, with penthouses starting at $35 million according to reliable sources.

I love the window detailing, highlighting an attention to a detail often overlooked. This building will be a welcome addition to the PLATINUM COAST, the West Side’s premiere living destination.
